Andrew Agbo Madaki
Andrew is an Information Security and Epayment consultant with 7 years experience in information security, cyber threat and payments. he also have 3 years experience in media and communications. He graduated from the University of South Wales (formerly University of Glamorgan) with a Merit in Computer Forensics. My focus and dissertation was on securing sensitive information on mobile devices. He proceeded to work with the British Sky Broadcasting Corporation as a technical and inbound sales advisor. In 2011 he worked as a Senior Cyber Threat Analyst with Cybyl Technologies Ltd in Surrey, United Kingdom before returning to Nigeria in 2013.
In 2013 he joined Brinq Africa Payment Solutions, a Payment Terminal Service Provider (PTSP) with the Central Bank of Nigeria as the Chief Technology Officer. In this time he instrumental in ensuring that the company moved from having an approval in principle to having a full license. In this time he managed the relationship and partnership between Brinq Africa and Ingenico (Number 1 for secure payments worldwide) in Nigeria. he successfully certified 3 payment applications for Ingenico POS (BrinqPay), Verifone (BrinqAPP) and Celluant (BrinqPOS). He was solely responsible for configuring, encrypting and deploying 1,300 POS terminals for Moneygram Nigeria to 7 Banks.
He is currently the lead consultant and CEO of Decy-4 Technologies Limited, an Information Security and Payments consultancy. We have provided consultancy services for Borno State Government, Irrational Innovations (a venture capital/builder from Israel), created and launched Bargain Hunter Nigeria (www.bargainhunter.com.ng) as well as provide guidance for several startups such as TechHerNG, Projaro, ChowHub and Enspire Incubator.
He is the community manager of the Africa FinTech Network and the Communications Director of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community (Abuja Hub
