Nkemdilim Begho is the daughter of Chris Uwaje who pioneered the conceptualization Framework and content drafting strategy for the establishment of the National Information Technology Development Policy for Nigeria.
Mrs Begho is the Managing Director of Future Software Resources Limited- an IT solutions provider focused on online solutions, e-learning and IT security. Nkemdilim volunteers and mentors young and less privileged children in Nigeria. She has a B.Sc. in BioInformatics from Ludwig-Maxmillians Universitat Munchen, Germany.
Nkem has been featured on several newspaper and magazine publications as an expert speaker on ICT in Africa.
Her Work:
She started her career as an Application Developer at Max Planck Institute for Psychiatric Research, Munich Germany in December 2002. Mrs. Begho developed software tools to aid genetic research, and plugins for Micro-array database (Java).
In 2005, Mrs Begho was the Channel Manager for Leapsoft Nigeria Limited.
Between December 2004- December 2009, she worked as Bioinformatics Consultant and Software Developer for Affectics Pharmaceuticals. Nkem developed a chemical compound database called Affectis KemSuite (Java PostrgreSQL) Affectis KemSuite is an in - house developed compound database system with chemical intelligence, which enables company wide data integration. Affectis KemSuite delivers all essential functionalities that ISIS Base,Chem Office or IDBS have, including the support of all data formats primarily used by the pharmaceutical industry.
She’s one of the Board Members of the World Summit Youth Award from 2010 till date;Board Member of the World Summit Youth Award, a global e-content contest with core focus on the acceleration of the Millennium Development Goal implementation.
In February 2008, she became the Managing Director of Future Software Resources Limited- a website design & web-solution provider located in Lagos, Nigeria. She was also among the Research and Development Team, for National Information Technology Development Agency on E-Government Interoperability Framework.
Other services her company offers include online marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), content management system development, online recruitment, graphic design, brand development (logo design and branding), workflow, business and educational software development and IT consultancy services for Nigerian corporate and start-up businesses, as well as the public sector.
Her company innovated the first digital business cards in Nigeria.
In September 2009, she was part of the NITDA Open Standards Framework on Creation and development of the open standards framework for Nigeria.

Clarisse Iribagiza was born on January 28, 1988. She is married to Joseph Abakunda. She is a Rwandan mobile technology entrepreneur. She is the CEO and co-founder of HeHe Limited; a leading mobile technology company in Rwanda founded in 2010. Her mother is an entrepreneur while her father is a teacher. Clarisse believes she is a mashup of what her parents do.

Clarisse founded Hehe limited in 2010, with other Co-founders after spending six weeks at the Accelerating Information Innovation Program from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2010.
HeHe regularly holds a “Hack-a-thon” as part of their efforts to encourage high school students to think creatively and use coding to solve real world problems.
In 2011, Iribagiza together with other young ICT entrepreneurs launched The Hills; Rwanda’s tech start-up network. The platform provides mentoring, access to finance and markets for tech start-ups in Rwanda. Within five years, she has inspired many people in and outside of Rwanda.
In November 2014, her company worked with SafeBoda in Uganda to connect customers with drivers that have been trained in road safety, customer service, motorbike maintenance and first aid through a partnership with the Ugandan Red Cross.
Her company HeHe, runs a few number of labs across Rwanda while working with over a 100 students from high school and colleges in Rwanda.
GirlHub; a project running through her company; has empowered more than 13,000 teenage girls and has over $200,000 revenues annually. Mrs Clarisse was part of the team that built a software for Nike Foundation to help give feedback and opinions on the activities of Girl Hub in Rwanda.

About Her
Joy Buolamwini is a 25-year- old Ghanaian-American lady who currently resides in Boston, in the United States. Her father is a cancer researcher while her mum is an Artist. Miss Buolamwini is passionate about using technology to enhance entrepreneurship; she is accomplished in this field and is the recipient of many awards and scholarships. She was inspired by arts and science used in the service of humanity while growing up.
Joy is a graduate of Computer Science (with honors) from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a certificate in Computer science and Architecture from Barcelona, Spain.
In 2014, she bagged her Masters Degree in Learning and Technology from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar and has recently begun furthering her studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Labs as a Graduate Research Assistant.

Her Work
Miss Joy Buolamwini started building her profile in technology while she was a high school student; her Latin club wanted a website, so she summed up the courage of reading and watching videos online, and built them one! Buolamwini as an undergraduate student worked in several capacities such as Research Assistant in everyday computing, Research Assistant Computational Perception lab and College of Computing Mentors. While Joy was at Georgia Tech she researched on health informatics as well as social robotics and autism.
She nurtured her talents at Yahoo as a Software Engineer intern for a period of 7 months.
Joy’s entrepreneurial skills can be traced again way back to high school when she started a freelance development company and she has gone on to establish several businesses such as Excelgrade in 2012 which augments educational technology. She also runs a hair technology company with a few other women, and launched the Madame You Platform in 2012.
Miss Joy created an android-based mobile surveying solution that was used to survey nearly 40,000 people in Ethiopia to help eliminate blinding trachoma for over 17 million people at the Carter Center; she worked as a Technical Consultant on that project for 3 years and 8 months.
In January 2013, Miss Buolamwini established Zamrize in Zambia an initiative that was inspired to empower Zambian youth to become creators of Technology as a Fulbright fellow and currently she still remains its Director.
Code4rights, also founded by Joy Buolamwini was developed in 2012 with the aim of promoting knowledge of human rights through technology.
She is exceptional at tutoring and is presently an Adams House Resident Tutor at Harvard University. Guess what? She can teach a team to code in 2 hours. That’s not all though, but in another 2 hours, that same team can develop an app under her supervision. Sounds fantastic right! That’s how good she is.
She started working in September 2015 as a at MIT Media Lab.
