About Her:

Onyeka Aghanenu is a Designer/Developer; her core expertise and skill crush is in CSS, Visual Basic 6 and PHP. Miss Onyeka is one of those geeks that makes you tick when you visit your favorite website; from the way the website is laid out, to the way the buttons acts when you click on them.  As a front end developer, she implements the designs on the web.

Onyeka isn't really into hardcore programming but more proficient with graphics, photoshop and Adobe Illustrators tools. In one of her interviews with Bankole Olorunfemi of TechCabal she says "  I don’t care for hardcore programming.  When it comes to graphics, Photoshop and Illustrator are my tools. I like to think there’s no CMS platform I can’t customize to the T at this point". 

Her first degree was in Computer Information Systems (B.Sc.), from Babcock University 2006. She holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University,London, United Kingdom.

She founded nlist, a virtual community that is building the largest directory of Nigerian production and talent.

Her Works:

Onyeka is currently the founder of nlist, a virtual community and directory for Nigerian production.

From May 2014-April 2015, she worked as a Front End Developer with Delivery Science Inc. Design of mockups and wireframes for client projects.  At Delivery Science, she designed the company brand assets including marketing materials and worked extensively with Bootstrap Framework, Grunt and LESS.

In 2011, she had enormous thread design experience with Desire Creative as a freelance developer and graphic designer.

Miss Onyeka worked as a Corporate Relation Intern for Unilever Plc in 2013.

In 2010, she worked as a frontend web developer with Zenith Bank group , part of the award winning Zenith Bank Web team.

She was also a Web Developer Intern for Infographics Limited between May– August, 2005 as an Intern - Web Development and Design, Content Management.

About Her:

Mrs. Oreoluwa Somolu Lesi is married to Mr Olugboyega Lesi. She fell in love with tech after attending a computer school while waiting for admission into the university. She then decided to give go for it.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Essex University, United Kingdom and a Masters in Analysis, Designs and Management Information System from London School of Economics and Political Science.

She is the Founder of W.TEC and has reached out to impact over 7000 women in Nigeria.

Her Work:

Mrs. Lesi worked as Technology Associate in 2003 at Suicide Prevention Centre in Newton, Massachusetts, USA. She coordinated and provided direction for the centre’s technology and online media-related activities.

In 2005, she joined Lonadek Oil and Gas Consultants as a Training Coordinator and later became the Project Manager for a project called Vision 2020 Youth Empowerment and Restoration Initiative. As a project manager, she managed to create awareness and encourage Nigerian students towards Science and technology career.

For over 5 years, she has been a member of Association for Progressive Communication whose goal is to empower and support organisation, social movement and individuals in and through the use of Information and Communication Technologies to build strategic communities and initiatives. Oreoluwa facilitated a workshop in Nigeria in 2010 and South Africa in 2008.

In 2008, Mrs. Lesi founded W.TEC for the purpose of encouraging Nigerian girls and women to use technology to empower themselves socially and economically. Every year, the non- governmental organisation runs a two weeks technology education and mentoring residential program for the girl child. The objective is to help girls develop interest in Computer and Information Technology. She also designed a program for women to develop technology skills that are relevant to their career as well as using online tools to for learning, self-development and professional development called W.TEC’s ICT Empowerment Programme for Young Women.

She was one of two recently selected by the Swedish Embassy to visit Sweden under the VIP Visitors Programme. The visit aims at connecting young Nigerian entrepreneur's with Swedish colleagues whose work is to promote an exchange and dialogue on how entrepreneurship, information and communication technology can help create a positive impact and increase quality of life.

Dr Tomi Oladepo is an independent media consultant, writer, blogger and researcher who is interested in digital public sphere, human and cultural rights. She hails from the western region of Nigeria.

Dr. Tomi is creative in thinking as well as a problem solver. She started her career in 2008 as a Client Service Executive at Shared Insight, Lagos, Nigeria. She moved to Coventry, United Kingdom for her Master's Degree doubling as a production assistant and researcher at Metal Dog Media from 2010-2011.

From October 2013-January 2014, Dr.Oladepo worked as Research Administrator on the IBTV Symposium at the University of Warwick and University of York.

She has experience in radio broadcasting, film and documentary production. She has featured severally on programmes by the BBC World Service including being a guest editor and participant at the World Service's 80th Anniversary Focus on Africa programme.

Dr. Tomi also worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant  at the Centre for Cultural Policy Studies from November 2011 to July 2015 at Warwick University. As part of the panel members on assessment of assigned modules at the University of Warwick, she prepared and delivered modules on social media engagement in Africa for 2013/2014.

She is also founder and Editor of Stylish Academic which features fashion and lifestyle for the academic. Stylish Academic dismantles the notion that scholars are not/cannot be fashionable. She also owns the blog Digital Media Culturewhich is woven around how digital media affects our work and play. She investigates the fast growing digital media environment and how it enhances and also presents challenges.

She was a panel member at the 'African Women Decade- Make Every Woman Count' in January 2014. There was a discussion on the Internet, information and technology as tools of empowerment. Her panel focused on how African women are using technology and social media for economic, political and social empowerment.
